I gacked a meme from Glock because it is a charming and edifying one, especially for me right now at this particular moment in my life.

Ten to Zen. name ten of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick ten people to do the same.
try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.

Though I have to ask: is being Zen *really* about cheating selfhood for the sake of originality? )

10. Gmail - Inbox (1).

My Gmail inbox has 20 unread messages somewhere in the 3,000, so I get excited when I see "21", so much that the number produces an excitment within me and I get this kneejerk reaction, even if I see the number 21 offline.

GAH JUST TYPING IT IS KILLING ME.

apparently invented decades ago but not really picked up by consumers, the liquid lead pencil has recently been reintroduced by various companies, notably by Stylus and PlexSupply.

People generally tend to be weird about them but they fill me with delight.

I love when people write these lists. They remind me of so many things that I've forgotten about that make me happy. #4, for example! That's such a nostalgic sensation for me. When I lived in Calgary I could see the Rocky Mountains from my rooftop, and every morning on the way to school I had to go over a huge hill just like that. It always felt so odd because I had lived in the prairies all my life and had no idea what real hills were.
