I think I want a poster or possibly an illustration of that SH image. God.

Also, Kate Beaton rocks, and the KIERKEGAARD & Verne strips are among my all time faves. KIERKEGAARD just made me laugh so much the first time!!

I KNOW. ahaha, both of the gorey cover posts had me laughing out loud. at work. like, CONVULSIONS. and then i kept remembering KIERKEGAARD all day long and just kept laughing.

omg i wish you were my flatmate, we could print out the holmes flow chart at giant resolution and PUT IT ON THE WALL AND COO OVER IT

BOOM. I know absolutely nothing about Canadian heritage minutes, but I loved that short and I have been saying IS THIS NORMAL?! to myself at regular intervals.

Also YES WTF MUSASHI, I STAYED ON WIKIPEDIA FOR LIKE THREE HOURS AFTER I SAW THAT COMIC. SHE IS SO AWESOME. I THINK WE SHOULD BE FRIENDS

That Jules-Verne-fanboying-Edgar-Allen-Poe cartoon is my favorite of Kate Beaton's. Ever. I have it printed out and taped to my door at work. The look on Poe's face in the last panel makes me laugh every. time.

My favorite part is imagining what a Poe story with a hot-air balloon would be like. All I can come up with is someone whose balloon has developed a slow leak over the ocean and how he descends into madness as his balloon falls towards the sea.
