This afternoon I had a lady call the store and ask me when The Lord of the Rings was published. After jumping onto Google to find out it's original publishing date, she then asked if there was a limited edition that was published. Bookstores are the new libraries. Duh!

I once had a mom call looking for Cliffs Notes to Bryce Courtenay's THE POWER OF ONE. When we discovered there weren't any, she asked if there was a movie and then if I had read the book - and if so, would I explain it to her kid who has a paper on it due ZOMG!tomorrow.
