I know the author of that book, Stephen Lanzalotta, he runs a bakery in the town where I live. He originally started writing that book to be an anti-atkins thing, and the publishers bought it (for a large amount of money he couldnt refuse) and decided to repackage the whole thing, ignoring his objections.

Thing is about those backlist titles, the old MMs are going OP. Wholesalers will have them for a time, but when they run out, they're out. So, hello hideously oversized and overpriced!

I didn't know there was an oversized, overpriced edition of Deception Point - we've got the hardcover illustrated editions of Angels & Demons and The DaVinci Code but that's all so far. I just hope they don't bring out a DaVinci Code Movie Tie-In edition, with glossy photographs of Tom Hanks *shudder*
And on a related topic, does anybody else find David Hewson's covers ridiculously similar to Dan Brown's?
