Urgh, the customer service entry down there reminded me of my weekly dose of asshat. Some guy wanted me to check if we had a paperback copy of a cookery book, & a quick search told me one didn't exist. So, after big sighs, he explains he needs to send it via post & a paperback would be cheaper. More sighs. He asks if I could tell him how much

It's because you went to so much trouble while there were lots of people waiting that the customer didn't buy the book.
Thats just the way it works out. :)
I'm not normally this cynical, but after the types of cutomers I've had altely, it just seems to be the way it works.

Something about books makes people seem to be extra-special asshats. It's like the concept of reading makes them panic.
