Wow, Order of the Phoenix must be on discount in that store, that many copies of the hardback would actually be almost $15,000.

I found myself thinking, "...minus the cost of the card you'll be saving $1,270.oo so the card won't cost you anything, and for the next year you save 10% on everything in the store and on our website."

Knowing my luck he'd still say, "No, I don't shop here enough."

(Never mind the fact that he would get an automatic 20% discount for buy more then 20 copies of the same book, he wouldn't even need to buy a card. That and corporate discount cards are free and give a 15% discount so in the long run he'd want to get one of those for his church anyway. ...I think I've worked at my store for too long.)
