Oh my.

I have read the books, at least the first two. One of the girls finds a pair of pants in a thrift store, that happen to fit all the girls perfectly (despite their wildly different figures.). They figure its a sign, and wear the pants when they have an important event, date, whatever. IIRC, no-one's a lesbian, no-one has a lesbian experience, no one's bi-curious. Maybe she thinks female bonding and feminism is lesbianism?

How can she have lived that long and not realized that a word after a common first name, in a certain place on a cover, is the AUTHORS LAST NAME. And what kind of mind does she have to pronounce it "bra shares?" I assumed it was something like brah-shah-rez or brah-SHAhRZ. I could be wrong, but even if it was "bra shares," I wouldn't have made the "these girls share bras" connection!

I don't mean to defend the lady, as she's obviously dumb as a post...

but maybe she has bad eyesight, and thought it said "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants And Bra Shares"?

I don't know, that's the best I can come up with. She's probably senile or something.

Rainbow Boys? Rainbow High? Bermuda Trianglez? My Heartbeat?

Dude...seriously. I hate people. They don't blink an eye when crap like 'Gossip Girl' hits the shelf, but a homosexual book? The horror!

Oh, and don't even mention 'Rainbow Party'... :)

actually...and this is going off the top of my head from a computer lab...but theres this part where, while lena is alone, the narrator is talking about how when carmen buys bras that are too small, she just passes them off to lena. if THATS obscene, then maybe the customer missed the ambiguous parts that allude to the (gasp!) teen-sex-with-some-older-guy.

...sorry if theres any spoilerism in that post

but yea, i'm sure they'd leave THAT out of the movie
