I figure there are two people in this world--those that get Wuthering Heights and those that don't. I say this because if you love Wuthering Heights, you'll probably love We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. I read this recently, on a recommendation from Richard and Judy's book club; I really enjoyed it - very sad in places, though.

It is quite sad. One really feels for the way the sisters are tied to the house and their uncle. It took me a while to realize that Constance probably had agoraphobia.
