Someone in SF_D once said that calling Bandicoot Cucumber endless variations on his real name was a misogynistic attack on his legions of fan girls and someone else had to come along and tell them, "Uh...it's just kind of a silly joke on his name." Proving that SJWs will wank over anything. But I digress. Said fangirls have poisoned me against his Sherlock, though seeing this post does sort of tempt me to watch it. Also, I haven't yet gotten my hands on "Study on Scarlet" which is why I haven't responded to that post yet because I don't feel confident I remember it well enough to discuss without re-read.

What?

The only people I ever see doing that ARE his fans.

I've only read half of ASiS, so I, too, need to get to reading.

You need to get your hands on it? It's on Project Gutenberg...

Also, that's nuts. The only people I've heard doing that are people that like him.

My ardent and feverish dislike of Butawhiteboy CantbeKhan doesn't help any.

I wanted the BBC episode last night though after I finished ASiS and I thought it was pretty faithfully, but just not the type of thing I'd enjoy.

I think part of my problem is 1) the disgusting fangirling over Butawhiteboy Cantbekhan 2) that he's basically lilenth, only instead of Holmes being racist he's an asshole and it's totally okay because he's autistic.

But whatever.
