Title: Bleeding Truth 5/?
Rating: Pg-13/R - for violence.
Warnings/Spoilers: Violence and swearing. Some GRAPHIC violence in this part. Set in season 1.
Summary: Merlin is outed as a sorcerer and Arthur reacts violently. The Prince then tries to move on with his life but Merlin appears everywhere he turns.

( The light from his torch spilled over the courtyard and shadows began dancing wildly in the sparks. The darkness seemed an almost solid thing with the torchlight serving to give it form rather then reveal its secrets. )

But... You can't... ARGH! Don't leave it THERE! I just read all five chapters and it's just stopped halfway though- at the most dramatic point!! I shall be waiting here patiently until you update *pulls out thermos*

PS Did I mention this was awesome? No? This was COMPLETELY awesome.

Sorry! I'm awful with the cliffhangers. I hate them when I read other fics but they're strangely addictive to use yourself. :D

I know what is happening next but it always takes me a bit of time to write and re-write until I am (mostly) happy (so you might need some cheese and crackers with that thermos). I don't know what to say! (I'm going to unwillingly make the leap and tie Merlin and Rolph together although I've kept them apart up til now, I don't like to make assumptions until the author's smacked me upside the head with a 2x4 or something)

God, Arthur's got to be the last person Merlin wants to see right now, after the week he's had...and Arthur's spent the last week agonizing over Merlin and Rolph... I just feel for both of them; and I hope they can get through this because I really really don't want Nimueh to have ANY further satisfaction from this than she's already gotten. My heart weeps for both boys *sob*

Torturing the boys is my new favorite pastime, I think. I saw someone's icon the other day of Merlin that said 'I am pretty so I must be punished' and thought yep, that's my fic in a nutshell :D. The two of them just have so many issues to resolve and it could all go so terribly wrong.

Thanks for your lovely comment! There will be more angst to come but I'm a firm believer in a light at the end of the tunnel, however small. After all they have a country to conquer (plus I love the whole bromance thing they've got going on.) I hope you continue to enjoy it and thanks again for commenting - its the best feeling to see a comment in my inbox! *beams*

Oooh, looking forward to more angst in the future. I can totally see that, considering how flat and dead Merlin sounded when Arthur discovered him at the end of the chapter.

Speaking of which, since I am still so new to the Merlin FF world, especially on LJ, do you think you could possible point me in the direction of some good fics? I've been to the Merlin/Arthur community, but there's just SO many fics there, I can't make heads or tails of what's worth reading.

I've only managed to find a small handful of 'Arthur finds out' fics, yours included, so I would be much appreciative if you could link me to some fics worth my time. Thank you so much!

I'm so glad that you updated. :) Poor Arthur with his nightmares about Rolph and what he could be going through. :( Well, at least Nimueh gave him the chance to see Rolph/Merlin... what an evil cliffhanger there! I'm looking forward to the next part though. :D
