The only regret I can really imagine him having is hurting Yuri, and even that I see him accepting, honestly. Otoya doesn't strike me as someone who has regrets, and I think he died pretty zen. He is, of course, sad that his son (and his other son) had no parents growing up, but there unfortunately doesn't seem to be a way to fix that. Plus, Wataru grew up to be a strong, awesome son regardless.
Oh my gods yes. Kastor's life is basically complete now that he has Charis in camp. There's that voice in the back of his mind going 'Alys is going to killllllll you' but on the other hand, he has his son, they aren't in any danger from all the stuff he's in danger from at home, and everyone keeps telling him that time doesn't pass outside camp like it does inside camp. So basically yeah, Charis makes Kas' life complete. He never wants to leave.
Kas probably finds Capell sweet in that 'totally naive little boy' way. I'm sure he gets poked and teased a bit, and Kas maaaay occasionally pretend to be all puffed up and jealous over Mikah. He isn't, he just enjoys giving people hell sometimes and he abuses his looks for that purpose.
So. Rui has this ping for People What Intend to Do Him/His People Harm. He just seems to know when someone is a bad person or is lying or has bad intentions toward him. But he didn't get that ping from Joshua. I think he's aware that something about the kid is 'off', but something about Rui is 'off' too, so that's okay. They have some common ground in the loudness thing, because while people will put up with his eccentricities, no one really understood them before. And the part where Joshua could understand him without Rui talking was just...amazing to him, because he has real problems communicating. Rui doesn't like talking very much and it seems like a real effort to get him to use his words, whereas in his head (and I base this on a one-shot from the manga) he is much better-spoken. So he'd like to talk to Joshua more, if for nothing else than speaking to someone else who knows poetry and for cutting the verbal middle-man out of the equation. He certainly wouldn't agree with Joshua's...politics, I
