If I had a nickel for every time I put this book down to throw my hands up and go "WAIT, WHAT NOW?" I'm pretty sure I could retire and give up this life of crime. I think what I understood of this novel only came because Inception turned out to be the perfect visual cliff's notes.
Still, though, it was really super fascinating and chilling and terrifying, all in one go. I'm glad I stuck with it. I don't know that Murakami is going to be my new favorite now, but he is definitely interesting.
