i'm catching up on my drama watching since work has been keeping me from it. well, not really... more like work and dram watching is preventing from writing up on them =P so in the end, my bad right? lol, not the point of this.. so on to what i've been watching recently.
i have finished most of the spring dramas. Bambino and Proposal Daisakusen have both been finished. i have yet to see the final episode of Liar Game, but i'm sure that'll end well (unless they kill off Akiyama, then i might get really upset).
so out of Bambino and Proposal Daisakusen, i think i liked ProDai's ending more. Bambino kinda lost my interest midway through, but i went on watching just cause i wanted to see what would happen to our Ban Shogo. ProDai was a better ending, but even then, not as good as i would have wanted. I had forgetten that most dramas don't exactly have that perfect ending (i guess Hanadan 2 spoiled me with their perfect finale). but even then, everything worked out right, right?
i've also (at last) continued my watching of Summer x Summer. i've actually finished it a while a go in raw, but still continuing it with subs. i'm up to episode 11, so there's only one more episode left. and man, Xia Ya and Lei are too adorable.
so now that last season's dramas have wrapped, i've started my summer season watching. but before i continue with that, i think i should say that i have now watched Nodame Cantabile three times straight! =S haha, i love it so much. i had watched in all once by myself, once with my sister, and once with 2 of my friends (ya! i'm so proud to say that i got my 2 guy friends to actually sit through and watch an entire drama!) Nodame is just too awesome. o0o, and i'm still planning on doing the capping.
episode two and three
now on to summer dramas! first would be i guess
Yamado Taro Monogatari. i'm not even going to lie, i tried the first episode out for shallow purposes: i think Sho is too dreamy, so i watched it for me. Nino's also in there too, and he's a good actor as well, but it was mainly for Sho. it's not a bad, though. very whole-hearted, with a touch of cheesiness. lol, not but seriously, it was pretty interesting. i'll try out the next episode to see if it gets more interesting (Nino's cosplaying as a maid in the next episode, and i about died when i say the preview). let me just say though, that this drama got my sister really appreciating the life we're living (in comparison to the main character, Yamada's, life).
episode one
next up is the korean drama
Coffee Prince. i think i'm going to like this one a lot. the first two episodes were absolutely adorable. Yoon Eun Hye makes one very cute boy. haha, but the lead male is kind of an arrogant ass. but they do make one funny OTP. ha, i can't wait to see him (i can't remember the main male character's name) start to fall for her while thinking she's a boy.
lastly, of course i have watched Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. Oguri Shun as Sano was pretty much what sold me on the drama. he does make a good Sano (i mean, really he's too hot as him). i just wish he wasn't so mean. and Maki as Mizuki is cvery adorable. Toma as Nakastu was alright, cept i have yet to see him act like the Nakatsu in the manga.
now, i figured that they would change a lot from the manga to make the drama, and i was prepared for it. but there were still things that kinda surprised me. like the tension between Nakatsu and Sano. i mean, what's that about? they're supposed to be at least friendly towards each other in the beginning, not hostile.
and what's up with the added in fangirls, and principal. and WHY did they maki Hibari one of Sano's fangirls. i mean, she's supposd to be fierce, and have funny chemistry with Himejima. and on that note, why is Himejima not pretty? lol, i'm shallow huh?
but one thing they did do perfectly well, Kayashima. in Hua Yang (the taiwanese version) they made him a weirdo. but here, he is kinda weird, but he still retains that cool and kind aura. and plus you can see the friendship between him and Nakastu. that was totally awesome by me.
it's still early for this drama to be passing any type of judgment, but for the time being, Hua Yang is still looking better. my opinion will probably change since i tend to like japanese dramas better.
well anyways, here's
episode one
and finally, i bring you Otsuka Ai - PEACH. this song really makes me feel the summer. =D
