isn't she just, so cute.
progress, progress, progress...
slow and steady; that was pretty much the pace of our OTPs development starting with last nigh to tonight's episode. well, not SUPER slow, but a good enough. and this episode was definitely a big step towards THEIR future.
and call me stupid or a baby, but this episode actually made me cry at the end. =P
let me start with Tae Kyung's mom. oh just a note, i seriously cannot remember her name for the life of me. i mix up the order of the three names always. even now that the series is almost done, i still can't get it right. so i've given up and i'm just going to continue to refer to her as Tae Kyung's mom. anyhow, she did one good thing in this episode; she set in stone that she is not the mother of the Go twins. i was 99.999999% sure that she wasn't, but everytime that possibility was brough out in episodes, that 0.0000001% left would make me doubt it for a second. now, no doubts. so thank you for that evil mom. her usual selfishness, she actually talks about the twins to Tae Kyung and says that they would have been siblings had he not passed away. you are an evil woman. its bad enough that your son knows you didn't want to be a mother to him, but then to tell him you would have been willing to be another child's mother... that's just... a NO!!! i just hope when Tae Kyung finds out who Mi Nyeo's father was, that he doesn't resent her for his mother's selfishness.
He Yi, needs to disappear. she needed to disappear a couple of episodes ago. she just continues to grow uglier and uglier each episode. before, i could understand (to and extent) her jealousy towards Mi Nyeo; i mean she's loved by the nation, but she's can't seem to attract the attention of three guys, while said three's attention is devoted to a single girl, who in comparison to her, is no one special. but now, she's just way to spiteful. i just don't like it, and hate seeing her on screen now. maybe if you stopped acting so rotten and actually acted like a nice person you could win them over. well, i am greatful you kept the reporter from seeing Mi Nyeo when's she was dressed as a girl, even though you did it for yourself, and not for her.
there was pretty much no Jeremy in this episode.. and the absence of his goofiness made me a little sad =(
Cordi Noona's obliviousness and naivitee has caused a peak annoyance in me towards her in this episode. is it wrong that i blame He Yi's involvement in Mi Nyeo's whole situation on her. cause the way i see it, it really is all her fault. she's helping He Yi torment and make life difficult for Mi Nyeo. ahhhh, she's driving me completely nuts. i know i probably shouldn't blame her so much cause she doesn't know how manipulative and spiteful He Yi is.. but damn woman!
hmm, who else was there. oh, Shin Woo. lol, i can't forget him. i feel sorry for him and all, but really, he should have done something about his feelings sooner. he should have just been upfront with her and let her know instead of trying to put on such grand gestures. really, i said that earlier. one of the reasons i don't like grand gestures when confessing: it takes too long. i find that a lot of the time but straightforward is the simplest and sometimes most romantice way of telling someone how special they are to you. you can make those grand gestures LATER.
and finally, getting to my OTP. the biggest and best thin of this episode? TAE KYUNG FINALLY KNOWS MI NYEO'S FEELINGS FOR HIM! final.freaking.ly all it really took to set him straight was for manager Ma to tell him why Mi Nye's been making those pig faces. i really can't blame you for Tae Kyung for taking so long. but i'm still so relieved he's stopped thinking it was Shin Woo.
i don't really have much to say on Mi Nyeo in this episode. she already knows where Tae Kyung stands in her life and in her heart. same with where Shin Woo stand.
i think this episode was more for Tae Kyung than her. cause after kissing her at the end last night, he really needed to get his thoughts straight. he was a guy who cared about no one but himself. a guy that hated disorder. but since Mi Nyeo stepped into the picture, his whole world just got turned upside down. he's done things and gone out of his way for her, when he probably never paid mind to anyone else's business. his life's gotten so shaken up over Mi Nyeo, especially of recent. he knows she means something to him, but he seems to miss it everytime. he needs to know what exactly she is to him, or he's seriously going to go crazy.
and with the way the episode panned out, it seems as if (and i have high hopes) that next week he'll fully understand what she is to him. i'm hoping that it'll happen in the next episode; like, right at the beginning, as an explaination for why he gave Mi Nyeo his permission to like him, and to look only at him. if not the 13, then at least by 14.
and while the episode didn't have many overtly silly and planned out explosive OTP moments (i can't exactly think of the exact words i'm trying to say, so i just hope ya'll know what i mean by "planned out"), but the little ones they had tugged right at my heart strings.
examples:
the moment after the kiss. lol, they're so stunned and confussed after the sudden kiss. its way too adorable.
the ackward moment they have that same night. she totally got caught checking on it. and he's so happy about that.
okay, so this one is a little silly. but again, Tae Kyung's so caring and so gentle. especially that tender smile she gives him, man, i melt. LOVE.IT.
the angry, tense moment they have when he sees Mi Nyeo dressed very beautifully as a girl, sitting, alone with Shin Woo.
and finally, the confrontation between them at the end when he demands she continue to look only at him and that he gives her his permission to like him.
i just wanna add, i never imagined that what Tae Kyung was capable of seeing and not seeing in the dark would be used for such romantic purposes, or that it would be such a romantic setting for our OTP.
he's expressed how unnerved he is when he can't see her. he's angry that she's been hiding her tears in the dark where she knew he wouldn't be able to see him. he knows now that he's been the one she's been constantly looking at, and is angry (or frustrated) he didn't know because he couldn't see her. but at that moment, with the his car's headlights shining on her, he can finally see her clearly, both literally and figuratively. =D i love the double entedre. =D
