Saturday Book Discussion: I can't believe you haven't read that author!
Last week's poll on which classics people have read was very popular. It's kind of interesting which polls get lots of participants and which ones don't. I don't know if they correlate to which SBD posts get more readers. But anyway, 171 people ticked off boxes about their high school reading lists.
And the top three most-read books?
#1: The Hobbit
#2: Romeo & Juliet
#3: 1984
Way down at the bottom were The Jungle, The Mayor of Casterbridge, and The Last of the Mohicans.
So, this time let's see which authors have been most widely read. Check the box if you have read at least one book by that author.
And yes, this list is also arbitrary and decided by me. If you have complaints about authors I egregiously left off or put on the wrong list, you may kiss my asscomment below, after checking off the authors you've read.
