Book queries and NaNo Word Count

I’m on a nostalgic kick to track down a lot of the books I read as a kid and there are two that are bugging me. I posted the following info to book-finding communities. As most of my FL are book-lovers as well, I’m wondering if any of you have any ideas

You *might* find information on the first one here -- it's listed as "nancydrew" but it's a web ring for pages about "teen sleuth" type books, and I noticed a ton of names I sure didn't notice:

I was surprised a few years ago when I discovered that other people in our generation had read Trixie Belden books... I read perseverated on my mother's childhood copies when I was a kid, but never heard of them otherwise until recently.

I'm glad someone solved the second one! (That wasn't on the flist verion of the post, but it was there when I clicked through to comment. :)
