I read that book at school. I have also read this piece before on LJ, and it does strike a chord with me.

May I ask what other books you have read? Are there any that you particularly recommend?

I would be here forever if I were to tell you even a quarter of the books I've read!!! As far as recommendations, I would definitely suggest rereading TKAM as an adult - completely different experience to reading it at school - I get something new out of it each time, and it keeps me going as an activist when things look too difficult.

One author I came across recently who I like very much and am telling everyone to read is Barbara Kingsolver, particularly `The Poisonwood Bible". I try and tag LJ entries where I talk about books (tag - books)- you may find things there that you want to follow up. I
