*hugs you* Thank you so much for pointing this article (and all the links of the feminist blog) out to me, hun. This has been a nasty week as far as news goes. First I read about a Massachusetts-based school that is using shock treatments (!) on autistic kids and young adults - and on a ton of non-autistics who are mostly depressives or "troubled youth" - and now this.

Abelism really honestly disgusts me even more than most isms does, because it is still largely invisible and uncontested.
