I'm sad that this isn't a good book. Any book that promises "He also wants to chop her head off with an axe" sounds like an awesome story. Pity.

my thoughts exactly. the axe line alone is what made me pick it up. I'm just glad I didn't buy it.

I agree. Axe+head usually equals plenty of gore. Too bad.
