I'm not a fan of Puritanical lit either. D: I didn't like The Crucible either...probably the only Arthur Miller work I didn't care for, actually. XD Scarlet Letter was a book I could deal with having to read (and at the time I DID find some of the plot stuff interesting...I was a teenager), but something I wouldn't read again by choice. Give me The Giver and Farenheit 451 any day!
