not so glamourous

several months ago, i found that there was free Kindle and Nook apps for the iPod. that plus free ebooks = score!

the freebies are mostly okay to not-bad reads, (what i rank on goodreads as three stars). some are absolutely phenomenal....and of course, some are complete flops.

Penelope Fletcher's Glamour is one of the flops.

blurb and my complaints, includes a couple spoilers )

at least the cover is cool, fantasy isn't always fantastic, author last names a-f, buddy can you spare me an editor?, young adult fails, punctuation fail

Just wondering- how did you get free ebooks? Cos I could REALLY do with something to read and I'm poor! D:

like i mentioned, i have the Kindle (and Nook) apps on my iPod Touch. if you have that (or an iPhone), the apps are 100% free and then you just search for the free ebooks.

Kindle also has the app available for all sorts of other platforms of other phones and things. if you have none of the above, you can just read them on your computer :)

not sure if Nook gives all these handy options but give it a look--it might!

The Nook website certainly does have loads of free books. I haven't read any yet though -- my Nook is full of classic public domain stuff from Project Gutenberg.

...and fanfics XD
