Exactly. And it makes even less sense because the Casts have no problem and name- and product-dropping in these books. Off the top of my head, Hunted mentioned Count Chocula, Dolce and Gabana, Saks Fifth Avenue, Jessica Alba, and Ed Hardy. So I do not understand the idiotic soda name.

When you’re describing a tense scene where a character has an arrow shoved through her chest it’s quite jarring to see a reference to that characters exposed “boobies”.

That's pretty much how I got sucked into reading the first one. Normally I trust my friends' judgement but we have to agree to disagree on this one.

Oh god, this sounds atrocious. I keep reading crappy books/series hoping they eventually stop sucking, and yeah, for the lols too. XD

(Also, I must point out polygamy is one man + multiple wives, polyandry is one woman + multiple husbands. Sorry to nitpick but I guess it's good to know?)

I know I shouldn't nitpick even further, but, polygamy can actually by either. Polyandry, as you said is one woman with multiple husbands, and polygyny is one husband with multiple wives. Polygamy is just multiple spouses. (Sorry, I went through a mildly obsessive phase about this stuff.)
