Oh...I have a particular hate for Marquis de Sade. I am avoiding 120 Days of Sodom like the plauge.

I'm tempted to read something by Marquis de Sade, the psychological aspects are beyond fascinating, but I don't think I could handle it on an emotional level. (It would either give me nightmares or make me more wary of people than I already am.)

Ug. Personally, I'm of the view that if he hadn't been imprisoned, and hadn't found an outlet in his writing, the Marquis would have become a serial rapist or killer. His writing reads exactly like the type of fantasies those guys have.
