I hope I'm not violating the 'don't-post-about-Twilight' rule with this but I think it'll be an interesting poll. The subjects have been thoroughly re-hashed in both respective fandoms but I've never seen them go head-to-head.

Oh, psychedeliceyes, I love this!

I am a huge Harry Potter name and have never tried to hide my distaste for Twilight, but I voted for poor Albus. If we are voting on the names themselves (and disregarding the actual books/fandoms), then Al definitely has the worse name.

At least Renesmee can have some cute nicknames. Albus can be... Al. Not so cute.

Agree on the nicknames front. I once saw him referred to 'Asp', his initials. Which isn't much better than 'Al' since the first thing I assumed it meant was Aspergers Syndrome.

Seconding this comment. It was the nickname thing that decided it for me, too. (That, and "Albus" and "Severus" are pretty terrible names all on their own, really.)

Smeyer is just too retarded I guess to realise that there are extra characters meant to express certain inflections or accents upon words, and so what should've been written as Renesmée turned out to be RENN-EZZ-MEE because she can't conceptualise the proper use of language.

I guess it just dazzles her too much.

I HATE name moshes. Least creative way to name characters, and therefore Renesmee wins. Plus it just sounds like someone is sneezing when they say it. :P
