Hah, yeah, I did have to go back and refer to my old post once or twice to jog my memory!
The rally scene - and subsequent fallout - was excellent, but I think my actual favorite was Sam and Cassel getting drunk in Sam's basement and Cassel actually telling the unvarnished truth when asked for once in his life.
I didn't love Red Glove, possibly because I did read it immediately after being completely freaked out by White Cat. It was good and all but it fell short.
I think maybe the difference is that White Cat works as a standalone book - though that would be a HELL of a depressing ending if it didn't have sequels - and Red Glove is definitely a middle book; it doesn't begin anything and it's not quite a conclusion. But I thought it was an enormously strong middle book.
