I almost wish I'd waited to read Orhan Pamuk's

Orhan Pamuk! I still haven't finished any of his books, dearly though I love them (about halfway through Snow at the moment, and adoring it -- still only a little way into Other Colors, due to not bringing my SRS BZNS first edition on vacation).
