I have never seen (none the less, heard of) The Middleman. But just from your description of the character, it sounds awesome!

It is SO VERY, VERY awesome. And the DVD of the first (and, sadly, only) season just came out, so you have no excuse for not acquiring it! Go forth! (There is an episode with fish zombies, Carrie. Fish zombies!)

I quite like this post!

. . . I would do one myself, but when I think about awesome ladies of color on the shows I watch, I come up distressingly blank. Possibly I should do a post on that.

(I can think of a few women of color in shows you watch! There's Sierra in Dollhouse and Missouri who had one episode in Supernatural . . . um.)

Sierra was the first person I thought of; then I went to SPN and went ". . . fuck." And everybody and their sister lists Martha for Doctor Who -- which, I mean, she IS awesome incarnate -- and the list after that gets short.

SPN has enough issues with keeping women period and people of color period on the cast, let alone managing to hire someone who's both. *wry*
