Yes, it is an icon post that is not entirely focused around Princess Tutu! I know you are all shocked. (And um you can probably expect one of those in a few days.)

They seek him here, they seek him there, those Frenchies seek him everywhere... That is about the best adaptation of Scarlet Pimpernel ever. I must've watched it dozens of times.

I might steal a Casablanca icon or two.

Is it not just! When we were in high school my friends and I dedicated a day to marathoning all the adaptations of the Scarlet Pimpernel we could find and this one won hands down. (Also, tiny Ian McKellen! I just want to pinch his grumpy revolutionary cheeks.)

He is SO TINY and angry! I really wanted to make an icon of him in his ridiculous swooshy black cloak but could not find a good enough screencap.
