It's so wierd looking at your pictures and seeing places I've been. Cool though, too.
Did you get around to the other side of the castle in Segovia? Um, this side.
Yesterday there was something about street performers on tv (my host señora leaves the tv on a lot) and I saw a street performer who had an act near our hotel. I was very surprised, but it was also cool, because that was one of my favorite of the street acts I saw in Madrid.
We went to a Flamenco exhibition the night before last. It was really amazing, but I'm glad I'm not trying to learn it.
Yeah, I did get around to that side of the castle. That's the better angle to take pictures, but my pictures from that side didn't turn out as well as the one I posted here did.
What did the street performer do that was your favorite in Madrid? I'm curious to see if I know what you're talking about. I'm a fan of street performers. :D
I haven't seen live professional Flamenco yet, though I would love to!
I've seen SO many beautiful sights here so far! Alcazar is probably my favorite. That picture is from the wrong angle to give it justice, but my others didn't turn out as well (it was a rather cloudy day). The cathedral in Segovia is pretty amazing, too (though I liked the interior of the one in Toledo, better, but I didn't want to put TOO many pictures in this post!
I really am enjoying my classes most of the time! (Just don't ask me when I'm doing homework...)
Oh wow, looks like you're having an amazing amazing time! La Notte Bianca in Rome was the day after the one in Madrid, and the stories I've heard from friends studying in Rome pretty much match yours about the one in Madrid! Sounds amazing. I'm jealous!

Your classes sound brilliant; the Spanish identity one especially, and all that glorious dancing.
Sound's like you're **definitely** getting out of this everything that you should.
