Why are they called Human Resources?

Cause they are obviously neither Human or Resourceful....

They didn't turn up to a meeting which they requested and I organised! They also didn't email or ring me to explain, or need I say apologise. Only getting back to me when I emailed them!! Leaving me to apologise to the person (from outside the council) who has been trying to meet with them for, count them, 5 weeks now!

Then they asked me to reschedule the meeting, which I did. But they can't come here to attend it - we have to go there...

And now they don't want the person the meeting was originally intended for to come and want me to explain it to them....

Hey... you know what? The HR department at my company is two shades worse than useless as well. Anyone else noticing a pattern here? I mean, it's more less paperpushing and keeping up with regulations... how the hell hard can it be?
