Fic: "The Heart of Darkness," chapter 2

Aug 29, 2007 23:28

So college has this way of totally consuming your life. I've been swamped with newspaper deadlines, homework, and the general hullabaloo of campus life. I'm afraid that I haven't been online much (or, more accurately, at all) this past week, so if you've written something or posted something I've probably missed it. I'll try my best to catch up ( Read more... )

fic, the heart of darkness, edward/bella

Turned out beautifully, as I knew it would. Very nice. I cannot say enough good things about your writing. It is really superb and even though this was probably my 10th or more read through, I still enjoyed it.

You are amazing-- the amount of time you've spent reading, re-reading, and generally whipping this chapter into shape staggers me. I can't emphasize enough how much fun writing this fic is with your help. You've been incredible every step of the way, from answering questions and giving great suggestions to getting me to back off on dramatic punctuation, hee hee. Thanks again!! :D

Ohhh, gettin' naughty. *helps clean up the drool all over Edward*

And, lol, "A tree?"

Mmm, love it. Loooove the new list. Even with all their awkwardness, it's still painfully hot. Please to be making me scream, monsieur Cullen.

Now I'm dying to know what this little message was. And eep for jumping out of cars at high speed! o.0

...More? *sad orphan face*

And, lol, "A tree?"

Yes, I know, but I love trees! And like Edward, trees are sturdy, provide protection, and without them Bella couldn't survive... that, and I thought it was funny. :)

Please to be making me scream, monsieur Cullen.

Heehee, I can't agree more... :)

..More? *sad orphan face*

Oh, now you've gone all Oliver Twist on me. Of course I'll give you more! :)

Thanks so much for commenting-- as always, your reviews mean a lot. :)

Lol, it made me think of Buffy. "Fire big, tree pretty." And it -was- funny.

Hehe, yay. I wish I could give reviews as good as yours. You're so thoughtful. Whereas, whenever I read something I really like, my reaction is, "!!!" and when I'm sort of indifferent, -then- I can calmly analyze. Life of a lit major, I suppose; I'm trained to analyze boring books.

Hi again! Your comments make me laugh, so thank you not only for the lovely review but for making me smile. :)

That list was SO SEXY. And the dryhumping? Not something you see in fics often! But still. Very hot.

Okay, about the dryhumping-- seriously, it works. At least it does for me *devious grin* Of course, what I'm really looking forward to is writing the sex scene... ;)

I'm gonna go buy you a ring now.

White gold, from Tiffany's, kthx. :D

But seriously, your reviews are better than jewlery or other sparkly things (except maybe Edward, b/c let's face it, he's pretty much sex on legs). Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment!! :D

8. Make Bella scream my name.

Haha, your icon is great! I didn't realize the line, "Edward, inside me now" was so popular already, heehee.

Thank you so much for your sweet review-- I am so thrilled you've enjoyed the story so far! :)

I'm particularly glad you didn't think #8 was over the top... I can imagine Edward having all these somewhat dirty fantasies he's been too gentlemanly to admit to, but we'll see what happens on the wedding night... *wink*

Edward, you just have to go and ruin other men for us?

Oh god, I know. But that's why we live vicariously through fanfic. :D

Thanks again!! :)

JEEZ. Why must Edward be only a fictional character?

Oh, I know. That's why I live vicariously through fanfic. :D

Friended you, by the way. I mean, hey, a writer and Edward-lover? What else could a girl ask for in a buddy? XD

Yay! I couldn't agree more!! :)

Thank you so much for your sweet review... I'm absoutely thrilled you've enjoyed it so far! I am always nervous about what other people will think of my characterizations, so it's so gratifying to hear that their voices rang true for you. Thanks again!! :)
