( About a week after the camera crew arrived and the novelty of being filmed wore off, Pam was left feeling even more bored than usual in between Jim’s visits to her desk. )

I can't wait until the writer's strike ends... I really hope the writers are meeting up in a dark corner of a bar somewhere and maintaining the great momentum they've got going. I was so desperate for more The Office that I bought the UK version, and I have to say that I really didn't like it. All the funny bits are the in US version, and the rest of it didn't make sense because the pop culture references are so different.

I was wondering if it would be okay for me to friend you? I recently read The Heart Of Darkness and I'm totally in love with it. And you seem like a really cool person (what with your Twilight and your His Dark Materials and your opinion on the whole JKR/Dumbledore thing...and now you write The Office too?!). Anyway. This was by far one of he funniest stories I have ever read. I was going to quote my favorte line, but all of the lines in this fic are quote-worthy! haha I could envision this as an actual part of an episode.

I enjoyed this because it just fit into the series so perfectly. Your dialogue was spot-on and I can totally see this as being a snippet from an episode. Dwight's over-eager reactions had me cracking up. And Michael - gah. Mostly, though, this was a really nice little "day in the office" fic. I wish people would write stuff like this more often!

ps: Any story that references Star Wars in any capacity rules in my book, too. ;)
