It all depends on the type of catalyst I'd be able to find. I've made a weapon in the past based on the theory, so it's a matter of backwards engineering -- in the best case scenario. There'd be a lot of restructuring involved based on the output the catalyst could generate.

I guess it's unlikely I'll find something like it, but on my planet, Energy Stones are a natural occurrence. The ore emits is own energy, and refining it further makes a great power source.
