Book of the Month

Dec 16, 2010 13:25

I did this last year, and thought it would be fun to do again.

I know December isn't over yet, but we're half way through, so I reckon it's okay to make an assumption.
Which was the best (and worst) book you read each month?

My answer is in the comments once I make up my mind for each month ;)

Wow. I have no clue whatsoever when I read what. I do, however, keep a record of what I read over the course of the year, so:

Best of 2010
Stolen by Lucy Christopher / The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins / Juliet by Anne Fortier / The Ice Cream Girls by Dorothy Koomson / Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead / The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

Worst of 2010
The Turning by Jennifer Armintrout / Darcy and Elizabeth by Linda Berdoll / The Vampire Diaries series by L.J. Smith.

As you can see, there are way more "Bests" than "Worsts", but that's because if I don't like a book, I generally abandon it and don't bother getting to the end. I should also say, the "Best" list only includes books I read for the first time this year.

Not all my worst were actually bad, just the least best of the month. I couldn't even put down a worst for some months because I didn't want to give that impression ( ... )
