I just finished rewatching the pilot ep of Firefly, so I'm feeling confident about starting my story. Would someone be willing to beta for me? It's the life of Zoe Washburne, and it will be 5000 words, minimum. If you could let me know, that would be great.

If you're willing to go through the process with me again, I'm there for you. FWIW, I've seen all of Firefly and Serenity, but I don't have the kind of strong feelings about the characters that I have for certain other fandoms. (I may also ask for some assistance on the epic Who-verse/Torchwood fic that I've started.)

Okay, sounds good, thank you. I'm focusing on Zoe, with Mal being a minor character, and the others on the crew will most likely be cameos. I also have another beta who asks all the thinky-thought questions, so this should work out well. I'm done school on Friday, so I'll try and have something written for a start by Friday next week.

Excellent! I'm almost done with the first chapter (which may or may not be the first chapter in the posted story), which will be post Miracle Day, with Jack, Rex and Gwen trying to work together as a team and Rex trying to figure out what's "really" going on with Jack and Gwen.
