I just finished Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire (I know, a little late, right?) and I was inspired to make a bunch of text icons. Icons of the cover of the book are in the works, but I got too frustrated with my computer to finish them today.

Unrelatedly-- did you like Wicked? I've been meaning to read it, but I've heard mixed results on how good it was. I love the music to the show (though I've never seen that either), but the book is supposed to be very different.

I am not the original poster, but I can recommend the book. I don't really know if I liked it -- this is a question I've bene grappling with ever since I read it over a year ago. But I do know that I couldn't put it down for very long before my hand started sneaking towards it involuntarily. If nothing else, it had me hooked.

yeah you def need to be able to read fairly regularly, or focus. i did like it. though near the end i felt it was getting a little long, i did think son of a witch moved faster and was tighter. it was good though.
