(You're from New Orleans?! As a Rice-fan I naturally find that incredibly cool :)

At least someone liked it. All McKinley-fans I know hated it. Although I do kind of agree with violetsocks about the ending.

Rice sold her house and moved away, I believe.
Since my favs of McKinley's are The Blue Sword and Hero and the Crown my tastes probably differ from most her fans. I didn't like Dearskin at all lol.

Awww, you got me all excited for the McKinley ones, because I thought that it might be the Blue Sword or the Hero and the Crown...

Meerrrr, Sunshine. That book looked so interesting when I picked it up, and 400 pages later I felt ready to pitch it into a fire. It probably wouldn't even burn. It could proably have been a good 100 to 150 pages shorter, and the ending? WHAT ENDING IS THIS THAT YOU SPEAK OF?! Feh. /bitter and annoyed
