setting aside for a moment that in my school district a principal is not allowed to summarily suspend a student for a first "offense" based solely on a parent's complaint, that principal would be really sorry for treating my child like that. there are entirely too many educators and lawyers in my family for us to let the school get away with that.

Point out to the school that maybe they should do something about the bullying if they were so moved and take her to a new school. Their idiocy and not being able to read that it's fiction is not her fault.
