Yeah, I have more supplies now. During their run through town for supplies they picked up a 3 man, 7'x7' tent for me. It's big enough for two people and two dogs or 3 people and one dog. Makes for some close quarters, but it's not bad at all.
My first night wasn't terrible, but I woke up with stiff knees from sliding down-hill in a 2 man tent with two people and a dog. It was just too tight, and a bad location.
Food actually worked out. I didn't need any of the extra food they picked up for me because I stuffed my face at a Jack-In-The-Box when I ran my friend back to town for his stitches.
Yesterday I found out the hard way there was no spare tire with the car I bought :p sometimes these things just catch you by surprise.
I've done under equipped excursions like that and they've gone fine purely by luck, though I know going unprepaired is playing with fire :(
Good to hear the pooch had a good time, if you could ever get a video of her rolling uphill that would be a sight to see, definate condender for "cutest thing evAr!"
let's hope the next camping trip goes more smoothly. I'll pack a chainsaw with my first aid kit just in case any damaged limbs need to be dealt with!
