So, I recently went to our one day assem in Utah. I drove up the elder coordinator and his wife and her study who was getting baptized. I roomed with her. We drove over the Hoover dam (hadn't done that yet). Then we stopped at a hotel/casino to use the restroom and get lunch. I finally made arrangements for the one day assembly in St. George, Utah. I'm excited! It's my first assembly with my new cong. I'm sharing a hotel room with the study of a sister. It was cold and rainy this morning as I walked to work. I had two pairs of pants, an under shirt, my work shirt, a fleece jacket and my new coat with the "fur" lining...plus my hat. So after 3 months I've officially lost 25 lbs (I've waited awhile to post this to make sure it was solid weight loss that wouldn't fluctuate back up). I've lost inches everywhere around my body including my neck and calves and 6 inches in my waist. My mom spotted me so I could get one pair of pants for work that fit. The staff meeting yesterday went really well. Everyone seems like they're nice. Though everyone does at first...but let's be positive. The place is gorgeous...esp for Kingman. There are areas that are tiled with real turquoise. All the furniture is this rich cherry wood...there's a lot to explain. I'm going to go in on Monday for more ( Read more... )

I found a job! It's only part time at a spa but at least it's something so I don't have to live on oatmeal and beans anymore. Good thing about that, though, is I've lost 17 lbs since I've been here...so that's cool.

Well, the interview on Tuesday went well. I may have been a bit too talkative but the person interviewing me didn't seem to mind. She was about my age and seemed really down to earth.
