lots of exciting stuff, indeed. the house is three weeks away---like it has been many times in the past. but hopefully this time it's for real! our contract addendum says on or before february 28th, but we don't believe that--but i think it could be before the end of march. they did some "landscaping" today--put down lots of pine straw around a few scrawny bushes and placed two dozen squares of dead-looking grass, and they cleaned up the palmetto (that i despise) a little bit.
mmmm. what'd you have? there's this buffet here in town now where we can get sushi that is a lot like yakuen (sp??) sushi--cheap sushi that you get on a conveyer belt for 100 yen a plate. (about a dollar). we would usually get six or seven plates... actually, if you watch joey's zombie movie, you can see one of those restaurants! the place here needs a conveyer belt, though--who wants to get up for their cheap sushi??
grad school--i'll finish after the summer. there was a slight problem with graduating after the spring, that problem being that i didn't realize they charged a flat tuition rate for taking between nine and fifteen hours... and i was only taking nine, so that rate was about four thousand dollars more than i would have to pay by credit hour. so, i split them--two for this spring, one for this summer.
Yikes. That's higher education for ya. I've always found the credit hour system confusing. VC just had units... 1 unit=1 class with the occasional .5 unit 1/2 class. Sounds like your plan is well worth drawing it out a couple more months though.

As for the house, at least it sounds worth the wait. I hope they get their act together and just finish the damn thing.
How's grad school going? Do you finish this semester or at the end of summer?
