I start UNI in 18 days!
Now that is exciting! What isn't exciting, however, is that I know I've picked the wrong course and am practically hyperventilating every day when I even think about it.
Thankfully, the lovely lady at the admissions office I emailed has asked me to call her so we can talk it through.
Hopefully, this is going to start my

About your class, if you can't get out of it, give it a fair shake. I always knew I wanted to go into Biology, but I met a really inspiring English prof who convinced me to give literature and linguistics a chance (writing had always been a talent/hobby, but I never went deeper into it than that), and I graduated and English minor, loving it to death. I didn't want to major in it since I don't want to teach and that's about all one can do here with such a degree, but I found it immensely interesting when I *never* thought I would.

I'm the same as you, I loved biology so I wanted to continue with science, but English is the one thing I've always been good at. Plus, the science courses involve a lot of practical work and I freeze up when other people watch me work (which makes me feel stupid for even picking the course in the first place LOL). At least with English, the majority of the marks are in the coursework - something I can do on my own without someone watching me all the time.
Yeah, I was thinking about what I could do afterwards - I wouldn't mind teaching, but I'd like to go into editing/publishing because I love proof-reading (lame, I know lol).
Tbh, all I want to do is enjoy uni, and I think I will if I do English. :] I'm just worried I've left it all too late...
I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. (If my parents haven't murdered me lol)

Kidding, hope you'll get it all sorted out. What are you going to study? I forgot.

*fingers crossed* it'll get sorted.
I was going to study Forensic Science and Anthopology with Criminal Investigation. And I was really excited about it, but then I got my timetable through and almost died. I only get one lesson of anthropology a week and the rest is all chemistry. Now, I have no problem admitting - I SUCK at chemistry. Big time lol ( ... )

Forensic science sounds intesting but you shouldn't do it if you know you'll fail though.

I am almost certain that I'd fail, knowing what I'm like during practical lessons (a complete panicky clutz lol).
