Have a great time! I liked Lisbon. The transportation is good (trams, metro, buses), it's easy to get around.
Some suggestions:
If you're interested in listening to/learning about fado, but don't have time to track down a good place to hear it, consider the fado museum. Admission: 2.5 euros
I liked wandering the old expo grounds. Take the subway and get off at Oriente station. Walk down a few blocks, towards the water. There are a lot of gardens and urban art around, and some attractions (aquarium, cable car, tower, pavillions). The Vasco da Gama mall is across the street if you want to do some shopping.
Baixa - this neighbourhood has lots of pedestrian streets
Alfama - where all the steep little streets are, the castle is in this neighbourhood
Belem - there's a monastery with cool architecture, tower, gardens, and the Monument to Discoveries in this area.
I didn't get to do any daytrips, but I've heard Sintra and Cascais are nice.
