Met a lot of great people through the OC fanfiction, too.
Glad you liked Finding Home enough to want to re-read. I've been through it numerous times because of editing and I still like the story.

Well, we can never say enough about wasted opportunities. Every time you'd think they might go somewhere really interesting, they'd blow the opportunity. Just one example is Kristen's auto accident--yeah, remember that? There was a chance to have her go through extended recovery and the family have to pull together.

How many hospitalizations in this show were just stupid in-and-out in one episode affairs?

But the Ryan's dad thing was the worst. I'd anticipated his re-entry into Ryan's life since the first few episodes. I expected high drama and explosive violence and a real resolution. Instead it was all "forgive and forget that I smacked you around as a child and ruined our family."

OOh, I'm so sad it's the end!
Seriously this show rocked! It had its up and down, but in general it was awesome!
I'm really gonna miss it... plus the end (the last 10 minutes) was so beautiful, the final montage made me cry too (it was touching) but after all they all live happily, but still it meant the end of an adventure of 4 years.
PS : love your stories, write more!

It really was a good wrap-up at the very end. It was just the rest of the episode that left me scratching my head. Giving birth in a stranger's house because it was " too late to make it to the hospital". Moving the wedding to Berkley? What the hell? Why not give some solid drama instead of this farcical slapstick?
