I could not have kept a straight face as Alex Jones screamed at me, any more than I could with some virulent homophobe. Which has the potential to get me killed, or at least smacked around, I suppose, but it's so ridiculous, I don't think I could help myself.

Totally agree. There is no (reasonable) reason why civilians should own weapons made for the military.
