Hehe, that's kind of funny that you tried to stay "in character" even though you were irritated. I try to do that when I dress up for Halloween as a character.

But that's awful about the drinking and the sexual harrassments. Hopefully the people in charge will find a way to take care of that so it doesn't happen in the future.

It was fun lunching with Angela and her family.

We'll see what happens with security next year. It will either improve or it will be like Homeland security that isn't. They'll make us take off our shoes before we enter the hotel. ;P

I realized my first year at D*C that when I dress up as a character, I am representing more than myself. It doesn't matter if I'm tired - if a little girl wants her picture taken with me, it's not because I'm me; it's because I'm Galadriel.

Yvette was a bit disappointed that Ripley didn't get much attention when she wore it on Friday, but I knew that she needed to be with the Aliens for people to really get it.

I joined PFLAG Pittsburgh in Feb. 2009. I'm now a board member at large. There is another brand new chapter closer to me, but I can't always make their meetings.
