I spent most of my day hanging out on the National Mall with Evy and her friends.  The fireworks we watched from the roof of the Federal Reserve Bank were by far the most impressive fireworks I have ever seen in my life.  They were like the finale of any regular fireworks show, except for the whole time, and the finale itself was like fireworks on ( Read more... )

Those are some really good shots; I'm way too shaky to get anything resembling fireworks on film.

Random: I came across our paper on beef-y-poof syndrome. What were we smoking?

I want to seeeeeeeeeee. Natasha was revisiting the research paper we wrote on gay marriage junior year, which was equally amusing and memory-lane-ish.

But wasn't the point of that paper to be weird? Am I remembering it incorrectly? XDDD

Those are by far the best fireworks pictures I've ever gotten, I think because the fireworks themselves were HUGE and came so close together that as long as you kept pressing the shutter button, you got something. It was crazy!
