I made a little cross-border shopping trip this week and picked up tons of new shoes and bird medicine.
I made a little Target run and found an adorable jade scarf and earrings!
(and necklace, but that will have to wait for another post.)

Tiny leaves are on the trees and it's been as hot as summer for the past few days.
I love going to my friends' country home when the weather is nice.  We always grill out and have a bonfire.

I'm so ready for spring to end so I can wear sundresses and sandals, but as you can see, cold weather and snow are still hanging around. I got this awesome dress for less than $20, and I just couldn't wait to wear it! So, why not take a cue from the print pair flirty spring coral with rich winter garnet to get me over the hump? The holidays may be over, but I'm still getting presents! I wore this outfit with my new brown boots and obi belt to my friends house.  I was looking through her clothes and saw this beautiful scarf that happened to match quite well.  My friend graciously gave it to me upon admitting it wasn't her taste. score!

Penningtons had half off the sale rack when I was shopping for a winter coat,
so I picked up some long tanks and cardis for $5 and $10 each.
I wore this to go look for a winter coat (found one!),
and visit a friend.  I like her new curtains!
