Love Month, Day 14: fun, fic and a fanmix

While the suggestion actually makes me a little nervous, this is not fic (well, not upfront, there is some amount of fic involved and I did post some earlier this week, in case you missed it.) It's also not really a fanmix (even though it's kind of a fanmix) - instead it is a collection of Bones-related personal anecdotes and observations all set

*waves* Oh Heyyyy friend :) I think that this is so many kinds of fantastic. Each anecdote is witty and poignant, and I can't wait to go through and listen to the songs that I don't know. As one of the biggest Ingrid/Deathcab fans ever though, their pieces alone were enough to win me over. I couldn't figure out why the "Soldier" one struck me especially hard, but then I remembered that Ingrid opened with it the last time I saw her, so my mind just KNOWS to get outrageously excited whenever I hear it now.

Also, I will be over on your page later on to fangirl review the new fic (which I LOVE). For now, however, I've exhausted the extent of my LJ skills and I need a break. You did an amazing job!

Sidenote: I think it's hilarious that LJ's spellcheck doesn't recognise LJ as a word.

Oh HAI there! I'm going to start by saying I'm insanely jealous that you have seen Ingrid. As you may be aware, I pretty much live in a city that is in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE and thus I can't say she's been here in the time that I've been infatuated. I do very much encourage you listen to listen to anything new, most of these are pretty damned awesome songs (if I do say so myself.)

Yay for LJ skills, as I said before, I'm proud like a pushy parent.

I'm rushing over to read your fic now, and I really hope we'll get to read the full story of your take on the topic of Booth's father one day - I think everything in fandom has been done before, so it really doesn't matter how many others have tackled a topic, you'll always come up with your own unique take on it, and I'd love to read it :)

I'm so glad! It was kind of a different idea, but it was fun to plan out and it's been great to hear that people enjoyed.

You're right enough about fandom going through similar idea, and I think I will try to come back to it soon. I was pleasantly surprised with what was there when I went back to what had been written, so I might just find some motivation in me yet!
