The things creative energy can do...

I finished up my plot skeleton for my NNWM this November and because I need to stave off the urge to not write it until the event starts, I put together a little rhyme by butchering an old Guy Fox ditty. And find myself thankful that I want to be fantasy writer and not a poet. I even crudely patched worked together a little cover art with paint... ( Read more... )

nerdy, writing, d&d

Your attempts at poetry are far better than mine! This actually sounds cool.

Thank you! The idea has been stuck in my mind for a since I heard that Relina never truly got a conclusive ending. I only hope that I can do the characters justice... And finish the entire story in one month. Wish me luck! ^_^

Sorry I was never able to come up with character names and the like. In all honesty, they're not really important to me as far as 'Relina canon' goes anyway since we had multiple characters (from the same players) coming and going all too often. The only real constants were the gnome illusionist whose name I just spaced - probably because he was retired for the stone grunt priest, Fezek. Then there's the half-wild elf Blackfeather(??) archer, 'Andi' (her real name was something super long and elvish so no one called her that), and...that's really about it...

Let me know if you need any help with characterization.

Don't fret over the names too much, with the bits and pieces you've told me over time I've patched together a group of heroes to use for the story (Though I have yet to name most them.) The list goes so far.

Relina
Swashbuckler- Rel's hubby
Stone Construct/golem with minor human intelligence- changed from the stone grant guy
War Priest- think cleric of St. Cuthbert
Mage- Ianil

I was also going to tweek things a bit so that Rel's twins were going to be a little bit older for the story as well, say about 9-12ish.

Anyway let me know what you think.
